How do I create a YouTube account?

Keep in mind that the layouts for websites change all of the time, so these instructions may not be exact depending on when you use them. We’ll try to keep them updated though.

1. Go to www.youtube.com

2. Click the Create Account link

   

3. Enter your email address, the name you would like to call your YouTube page (if available, just some form of your nonprofit’s name,) your postal code, date, and gender. Then click the I Accept button

   

4. If you used a Google email, you’ll arrive at the following page and all you need to do is enter your email password and click the Link Accounts button

   

5. If you didn’t’ use a Google email to sign up, you’ll arrive at the following page. Choose a password, confirm it, and then type in the letters that you see in the box. Next, click on the Create My New Account button.

   

6. Your YouTube account is now created
